Hamster heaven

Hi
I will soon be upgrading my hammies cage can I am considering either the hamster heaven or alaska cage, I prefer the look and colour of the hamster heaven but I need to know, is it tall enough for my 12 inch wooden wheel? Also which would u guys recommend,?

I have both & they are great cages, the Alaska does have a lot more height than the HH though, you could probably fit a 12 inch wheel in the HH but without much room to spare though!
Overall the alaska has more space in all dimensions so if I had to choose one of them I think I'd go for that.

They are both good cages

The Hamster Heaven (depending from where you buy it from) can be almost twice the price as the Alaska. The quality of the Hamster Heaven is much better though, it has stronger bars etc. I am not particularly keen on the accessories in both cages, so I personally wouldn't use them. They are both roughly the same size and both cages have a large doors for good access. The Hamster Heaven can certainly fit my 11" wheel in it, though I'm not sure that it will fit a 12" wheel.

I love them both. For anyone interested, the Hamster Heaven will be on Amazon black friday deals today at 4:50. Chance at getting it cheaper.

The HH is sturdier than the Alaska, but the Alaska can be flat packed. I've got two of each cages

I have the big Karlie 29cm bogie wheel in a cage the same size as the hamster heaven (I have the Savic Mickey 2XL which is exactly the same cage but with smaller bar spacing and no tubes or shelves). It fits fine with room to spare at the top, but it has to sit on the floor of the cage to be stable, so I have less substrate around the base of it (just enough to cover the base) and slope the substrate away from it so it is deeper in the rest of the cage.
