Thank you for the reassurance about the wheel, luckily my hammies a climber and I never really see her digging so the substrates not a problem.
The black Friday deal is finished they have a limited number of them and I think you have up to an hour to claim them, it might be worth look at the up coming black Friday deals on amazon to see if any other good cages come up

Hi guys, my hamster heaven has arrived and I have put it all together, although I can't figure out how to fit my 12 inch wheel in, the cage is tall enough but I want to have the penthouse on the cage so the tunnels block the area where the wheel could go, any ideas?
if people could possibly show me pictures of their set ups to that would be really helpful, some inspiration

I took out the green shelf, I didn't like how you couldn't actually put anything on it! The wheel goes at that free end now.
This is an older pic, the ladder is gone now.
