Question zoo zone cage?

I have recently ordered a zoo zone cage 1 (L72 x W46 x H32.5cm) I do know i have to mesh the top as it is advertised as a rabbit cage and the bar gaps are too large for a dwarf hamster. I was wondering if there is any info i should know before i get it , I am getting my cage a few days before my hamster so i can clean it and make it and prepare it.
( I bought it from Pet Supplies Store | Petplanet.co.uk | The UK's #1 Pet Store for £30.99 )

its a nice cage the plastic is nice and thick, I would make sure your water bottle is secure and in place at all times as that's the area that every hamster I have put in that type of cage likes to chew, The top is relatively easy to mesh, I like the fact the bedding stays inside the cage, its not big enough for a Syrian but makes a really nice home for the dwarf hamsters,

I have this cage for a syrian and only thing i can really think of is you might want to cover the tiny holes round the inside of the cage, my hamster found them and decided to rip into them with her teeth causing big holes in the cage

I was planning to use industrial strength Velcro to secure it in place? And i am getting a dwarf so no problem there I got it because i have read they like to burrow so the large plastic bottom would be great for that Thanks for replying

I use this
http://www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pe...m?pageSize=45#
the small square parts are perfect and not intrusive, plus easy to replace if the ham is a chewer
