Question How to make a wire cage wheel suitable for a bin cage?

I have a regular wheel that fits into wire cage(at the back it has an extension to hook it on the wires) and my question is how to make this wheel suitable for a bin cage because I don't really want to buy a new wheel but if I have to it's okay, so if there is any way to put my current wheel into a bin cage, please say it.

I thought about cutting the part that gets on the wires and then put a piece of hard cardboard or wood and then stick it to the cage but I'm not going to do that because I'll ruin the wheel and I might go back to wire cages sometimes or I will need it other time.

So, is there any way I could make an extension on what I currently have to make a stand for the wheel?
I will post pictures if the wheel if needed

I'm just making this up but if you can't Google around and try and find a stand for it you could cut out another part of the bin and try and secure bars with the same spacing the same way you would secure meshing? If you have the barred cage you could use some pliers to take the wire door off and use that and you should be able to reattach it if you ever need to.

Well I'm not sure where abouts you are so there might not be a pets at home where you live but they sell a wheel stand for £2 and it has bars on and you clip the wheels onto it, I use them for my wheels in my bin cages

I found an easy way! My dad suggested it to me
If anybody is interested, you take a cardboard box(shoe box works best) and center the wheel on it and then you mark it and cut it all and at the end, you make one narrow hole like it is in a bar cage and just put the extension that goes on the bars there
