Hammy Vivarium
Hey guys!
I have not posted in ages and I'm so so sorry but I have been so busy.
Anyway I have finally got my syrian out of a normal bar cage and into a new, three times the size vivarium which as been converted and made for his needs! I am so so happy with it and only cost me £30 for the vivarium and my dad helped me build a shelf and a ladder for him!
I have attached a picture below of the final piece. If you have any questions about it, just ask!
Thanks!

Wow that is gorgeous! What a lucky ham.
Just one question, is there much ventilation? Reptiles need very little so often there is just a small ventilation cap or two, this isn't sufficient for a hamster.
Also noticed the wheel, does yours like it? My Syrian is too big for the one I have, and my dwarf hamsters refuse to use it even though it is a better size for my largest than the silent spinner. They're stubborn little things!

Wow that is stunning! I see that the sun is able to sneak in there so I would keep a close eye on the temperature. Lots of space though and I really like the look, did you take pictures of the conversion process and can you maybe share it with HC?

The whole roof is actually cut out and been replaced with mesh wire to add to the ventilation. Also my Hammy loves the wheel, spends hours running on it and mine is perfect size for him!

My blind in my bedroom is down all the time, this was the only time I put it up to get a good picture so the lighting was better :3
Also sorry I did not take pictures as it was so quickly made and my dad did it in his workshop while I was out sorry

Wow that looks really great- lots of space. What did you use to make the 2nd shelf/level?
