Hi, I'm ThatGirlTegs boyfriend.
It's about 3ft across and about 1.7ft wide
We attach the bottle with Velcro which works very well.
|

Now, that thing is beautiful! I love the idea of meshing the top that way. Has the cage been sealed for moisture? Your dad did a really great job on this. You have a lucky little hammy.

I couldn't tell you if it's been sealed, but I have never seen any moisture in or on the cage.
Unfortunetly hammy didn't get along with it due to the cage being on the floor meaning the cats could look at him all day. He has been put back in his old cage which he loves anyway.
However we moved the Viv to my house so we're actully going to be getting another Hamster tomorrow, which will be used in this cage.
It will mean we will have 2 Syrians and 2 Dwarfs!

Thanks i was also wondering how the shelf is supported, is it just on some metal brackets? Im getting a viv very similar and would like to do something like this, it looks lovely

It's drilled on each side of the cage, so there is no metal visable to the hamster.
