Beach/Ocean is my most fav place.. Lol- check out my signature- ( ocean waves) hehe-
I actually did think it out for sometime- made things first, to go inside- painted the background, then selected colors, and designs based in the theme- I got my young daughter involved, turned out to be an enjoyable project, for us .
Thank you
If you have a glass tank, it's amazing how a background transform the tank, ( visually)

Re: More Interesting Cages?
Sorry- I'll post more photos of the things I DIY'd and used for my set ups, later tonight- with 3 laptops you'd think at least 1 would be working properly, right now. Rrrrr! Lol

Re: More Interesting Cages?
Here's one of the DIY moveable platforms, that I've made. I bought an wooden showbox frame from a craft store, and a few wooden rods, cut them to what ever height you want the platform, glue the rods on the bottom, let it dry over night, and there you have it!. You can make an ladder, or stairs, or even make an bendy bridge or buy an bendy bridge, to use as a ramp. Attach with little screw in hooks, and just a few photo's of what I added to my dwarf hams set up.
There's a section on Wiki, of members that have posted photo's of their cages/setup, and they are AMAZING! Take a look, can get great ideas, and other members may chime in and give you more ideas.
:> Here's the link to the Wiki member's cages, 2014
Let's see your cages (from January 2014)

Re: More Interesting Cages?
There's also non toxic water based acrylic paints that you can use if you wanted to paint things .

I was looking on ebay at backgrounds and saw some pirate stickers for putting on walls of rooms. I dont know if they do small ones that can be put on cage walls, but there are all sorts of pirate stickers. I think I types 'scene setters' and there were lots.
