Talking Zoo zone, Rody rabbit

Hi there guys I really need your experiences on this one!

I have one syrian boy Merlin he lives in a bin cage really useful box 64l there's 2 of them connected for him, they are on top of each other, on my ikea malm unit.

My bin cage is looking abit worse for wear now and needs retaping remeshing etc.

About a year ago I looked into zoozone 2 and rody rabbits, I really like the flat floor space and how easy it is to see inside.
My current cages because they are stacked are quiet heavy and harder to access the bottom box.

My unit where the new cage could go is 81 by50 a little smaller than the cage I'm looking at but I think the actual bases themselves (the blue base) is smaller than 100?

What do you guys think of both these cages?

The pros to the zoozone2 for me are its lid I like how it fully opens up and I've found it alot cheaper than the rody
The pros to the rody are its white I love white!! downside to it though it's got a smaller door and I can't tell exactly how small and how much this hinders access?

The rody is also slightly smaller to fit on my ikea malm, so many pros to the rody but worried about that door

I really do like my bin cage but I've always wanted a style of cage like this for being able to see in better and access wise.

What do you guys think? Do any of own one of these cages and a malm hehe or maybe can show me the rody door? Or even a size comparison of both cages if you have them I'd be so great fun for your input on really really would xx

Lots of love from Merlin and Claire xxx

I own a ZooZone 2 and I hate it sometimes. It's on my floor because it is huge, and I keep knocking into it and things keep bumping into it. Other than when that happens, it's a great cage. One downside is that the lid isn't attached and you need to take it completely off otherwise it'll fall. I believe if the lid leans on something like a wall, it'd probably stay up.

The ZooZone 2 is 100 cm in length

I have zoozones for my two but my sister has a Rody for her little robo.

The rody is a great size too, but that lid kills me! Whenever I'm visiting I have a wee play with Alfie, but getting in to him with the sliding mechanism just irritates me haha! I think I've been spoiled with the zoozone lid!

There's not much between them and are both great ham homes, but the lid would make me pick zoozone every time!

Thanks guys!
I didn't realise the zoozone lid wasn't attached does it slide off or just lift off?

How much has the rody door been a pain hun is it really small? I'm used to a open top bin cage as well so I think I've been spoiled hehe

This is my chest of drawers the cage would go on http:// m.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/art/40214551/

The lid slides into the back of the top.

Ohh okay, does the rody rabbit lid slide on and off as easily?
I remember reading somewhere you don't need to use the door and that you can just slide it on and off is that as easy to do? or easier on the zoozone?

I find the rody to be a pain to slide. It tends to jam a lot, and is noisy, so the wee door becomes a better option, but that's tiny! I know it drives my sister insane.

The zoozone lid does come off entirely if you want it to, but I like that. You can also just open it normally. There's a catch it sits in so it can just be lifted and sit normally, or you can take it off. I find it gives more flexible access to the cage, and is much bigger than the rody.

I feel I'm being really negative about the rody - it's still a great cage! - but I'm a zoozone at heart

Thanks so much!

Your all helping so much! Merlin is getting excited he's walking acorss my pc desk hehe

i'm extra cautious about cages, in past i orderd before for my rats, and the door was terrible, so much smaller than it looked! it's made me cautious now lol!

it's a shame i can't find the zoozone 2 in white it would be perfect!

I don't have the Rody so can't really comment.

As for the ZooZone lid, I guess I might have a bad one because I can't keep the lid up :P
