Default OAP Hamster Housing Question (Jack 72)

After getting a Ferplast Mary for Poppet, the next cage issue to sort out is Biscuit's cage. She is currently in a Leon cage (three levels) but due to her age is starting to struggle to get up the levels and I really want to get a new cage before the problem becomes bigger, as I'm pretty sure she'll be trying to get up the levels long after she really should be doing. Looking at the cages apart from the Ferplast Mary I have for Poppet (which is most probably too big for the space) the Jack 72 looks suitable, but I have two potential problems that I hope someone with the cage can help with!

1. Looking at the online pictures it looks okay, but can one / both part levels be moved to the bottom of the bars without causing any problems e.g. blocking doors. With my current cage I can't move the levels any further down to create less steep ladders due to the doors being in the way and I'd like to keep one extra lowish level for the time being as she is still quite active.

2. The depth is said to be 44cm, but I'd be grateful if someone could tell me what the depth of the cage is from one cage foot to the other. As my current cage (online) says the depth is 36.5cm, but actually the difference between the feet where it rests on the surface is about 28cm.

The drawers the cage needs to fit on has a depth of 38/39cm and a width of 80cm.

Thank you!

I have one of these cages and it is possible to put the two blue platforms below the level of the side doors so they can be opened but unless you put them at the back your vision of the hamster in the base will be resticted. Another point the platform clips are a bit fragile and need careful handling and must be soaked in water before attaching to the platform or else they will break. Dimensions of the base are 69 cms length by 41 cms wide. height of the cage from the floor is 43 cms so you will probably have a 2 cm over hang on your drawers no double entendre intended!

Thanks! The cage arrived this morning and I've got the clips soaking in water for a bit. It looks rather smart and I love the fact that the bars fold down, as when we want to store it, it'll only take up half the room! You wouldn't think I only had one hamster here now, the emergency cage upstairs with Biscuit in it, her old cage on the drawers and the beginnings of her Jack 72 in the lounge. It comes with so many things too, most of which I'll give away to my boyfriend's hamster.
