Cheap Hamster Cages?

Hi, I'm looking for a few more hamster cages for my syrian because he is getting too big for his other cages. The ones they have at pet shops are $30+ and I just don't have the money for those. Does anybody know where I can find cheap cages online?

Craiglist has used cages for your area secondhand that are great or you could check amazon or walmart

Make a bin cage! It only costs a few bucks to buy a nice large bin, and only a couple of hours work to modify it into a cage. Its the perfect solution!!

Looking for second hand cages on Ebay or Craiglist would be a sensible option- most of my cages are second hand but are still in great condition For a syrian hamster you really need a cage that is 80 x 50 cm (which I think is around 590 sq inches).

If you do want a cheaper cage that is still big enough I would also recommend making a bin cage. I have personally made two, there only took a couple of hours and where fairly easy to make. If you search for "Hamster Bin Cage" on the internet there is loads of information about them.
