What do you all think of this cage? Personally I think it looks amazing and I bet it would be fun to watch a hammy in, but perhaps not too practical for living in. Has anyone used/seen one of these before?

my local pet shop sells them, but i'm not sure if they are very practical, never used one.

Also, not sure how easy it would be to clean

I think it's one of the silliest designs i've seen in a long time. Poor access to hamster, the cage will sweat and so will the hamster. I would go for a Gabber or a Ferplast Duna/Fun as they are easy access and easy to clean too

I knew I'd seen this somewhere! There is a review by ghostofarose in the Cage Review section here
viewtopic.php?f=30&t=2558
She seems to find it well liked by her robos and easy to clean. I would say this cage is only suitable for dwarfies for sure. Too small for a syrian.

I bet a Robo in that'd be sooo cute! and it says you can connect it to other cages which would be cool.

There is a very similar one on Ebay atm. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FERPLAST-HAMST...QQcmdZViewItem
(I have a feeling that he had the hamster on Ebay too originally though )

Oh I didn't plan on getting one, I'm getting a Gabber, but was just curious as to what people would think as I've never seen anything like it before! Definately a little hamster cage, I imagine it would be very uncomfortable for a syrian. But it does look kind of neat! I'm going to go and see that review. I did look in that section (which is so cool btw!) but never noticed it before!

my friend has a lemming living in one, however lemmings are tiny! i wouldn't use this even for dwarf hamsters, the floor space and ventilation seem very poor.

Oh I know you wouldn't get one - I just have never seen them for sale so thought you'd be interested to see that people have them
The guy had a syrian in the one on Ebay - poor little thing.

I've been planning on getting just the top part and adding it to some duna funs, but I'm not sure? my local pet shop seems to have loads, at first I just thought it was packaged wheels and ladders, lol.
