Ferplast Mini Duna
Has anyone here got one? How does the water bottle fix on? What are they like? Do your hamsters like it? Pictures would be nice.

Re: Ferplast Mini Duna
i made my own stand for it inside. it would only work for robos how couldn't climb up it though. i don't have pics, but it was the stand of a silent spinner wheel with the water bottle on an elastic band!

Re: Ferplast Mini Duna
I don't have any pics but the water bottle fits on the outside of the cage using suckers and the spout sticks through the little hole in the top half of the cage. If you bought one from new, the Sippy bottle that comes with it has instructions on how to fit it. It looks complicated but its actually easy once you get the hang of it.

well i find some hams dont like the sippy bottle you can attach a conventanal bottle by use a wall as support or by sim-ply taping a normal bottle to the side uses alot of tape thougth

Re: Ferplast Mini Duna
another 2 options are :-
1. Get a hanging water bottle and just hang it from the bars on the top of the cage.
2. Drill 2 tiny holes in the top of the plastic above the water bottle hole. Then take a hanging water bottle and pass the wire through the tiny holes and the water bottle. There should be enough movement to take the bottle out to fill up without undoing the wire.

Re: Ferplast Mini Duna
I have Robos in these cages and they seem to really like them. Mine have never got on with the sippy bottles and I use a hanging bottle, that seems to work really well. There is plenty of room for toys and hideouts etc and as yet I have never had an escape!! I also like the large access through the wire grill, especially for my robos as I can place my hand in the cage with no difficulty and am not trying to get at them via a small door. Excellent cage all round from my point of view!
