Question Bin Cage

Heya guys, I posted a few days ago about a travel cage and have given up finding one. So I'm going to make two bin cages for my syrians.

I was wondering if 13x13mm mesh would be to large ... I cant see why it would be but was wondering if anyone had used it before or new a better size?

I want to be able to get water battles through the mesh (one water bottle has around 10mm wide end so some reason ... its good though)

cheers for your help,

Jai, Kimi & Jeff

Not exactly a bin cage but when I meshed my ZZ2 I used 6MM mesh just to be on the safe side and it's worked out just fine Mine is a bar chewer though so the smaller the mesh the better for me, I wouldn't go as big as 13x13 mm mesh. Someone else will have a better idea than me if it's too big (I would think mesh that big might encourage them to try to nibble through, it certainly would with mine!) but I thought my experience might count for something at least With the water bottle I think a lot of people put it in the yellow cube from P@H if they don't make something to mount it on the wall of the bin but it's up to you if you want to get it through the mesh. I hadn't even considered trying that! I hope you'll upload some pics of the finished project

heya, cheers for getting back so quick I must say I never thought of them chewing it and Kimi is a chewer and a biter, well he's just a monster (still love him). I'll look to see if I can find some smaller size

hoping to get it tomorrow with luck

Glad I could help I got my meshing from my local DIY store, they had a LOT of different sizes so give it all a look over and just think what your little one might be able to get their teeth around! Good luck with getting all the items and getting it made
