Here's two pics of the first bin cage I made:

I used a soldering iron with an old tip to melt the holes to mount the water bottle. It was one that had a base that attached to the cage with a screw and nut, and then the bottle itself attached to the base.
The wheel is a silent spinner than I just put on the floor of the cage at first, and then eventually mounted it to the side of the cage with a 1/4 inch self tapping screw.
I read someone used a Dremmel tool, which I think would have worked great if I had one. You can also use a hole saw if you wanted to add tubes, and a step bit if you wanted to mount the water bottle on the outside of the cage.
I can put up some more pics of the other two cages I have now, which I also used a soldering iron on to make the holes.
Just let me know

Aww that's awesome!

I must be blind because I honestly can't find the sticky anywhere!

But this is the cage Terry came with. It's not incredibly small but it's not exactly huge either. The one he came with was battered and bruised and only had a trixie wooden house in and the shelf. Nothing else! Not even a water bottle, food bowl or wheel.

SO I'm definitely going to make a bin cage. They are cheap enough and I will probably still upgrade to an Alaska at some point.

Thanks everyone

Okay so I've found the 110l bin from the range which is rougly 80x40cm but it's going to work out a bit out of my price zone so I've found another one which is W38cm (15") x L75cm (30") x H40cm (16"). And as this is just a temporary cage (I think) should I just opt for the cheaper smaller one?

That's actually a pretty decent size, both of my bin cages that I have now are about the same size.
