oh my god that's awful! is there some other way of clipping the lid down? i used to have 2 spare gabber clips from the rusty pee bucket one i had off ebay but i had to use them cos i lost 2 of mine!

LOL, silly ham!

Max's Gabber doesn't have any clips (I bought it second hand) but he's just a little Campbell so I doubt he could escape if he tried. I wouldn't trust a syrian in there without any clips though!

If anyone finds a site that sells them - please let me know

Mojito has started chewing her cage clips now she can't chew the roof bars so I'm a bit worried my clips will end up the same way - what is the alternative though as I think she could get out if I didn't use the clips

maybe use something to weight down the lid???

I know Souffle doesn't use the clips at all on her Gabbers - and she's never had a syrian escape.

the rene 72 clips are very similar to the gabber clips I will check tomorrow night ( clean out night) if they fit, then you can get rene clips instead.
