There are a lot of costs to incur as a pet owner. Not only are the intial costs of the pet & habitat, but there are also costs of maintenance (bedding, food, and the occasional new toy for your hammy), but you want to make sure that you can cover other "unexpected" fees as well...like vet visits and meds if your hamster were to get sick.
