Thumbs up Good Cages in Canada

I though it would sound great for Canadians to know that it's not impossible to find suitable cages for our fluffy babies...!

Will try to list the cages that are AVAILABLE here and that are suitable...! Feel free to add any that you feel should be added and/or that i have forgotten !

HAMSTER HEAVEN METRO | Savic
HAMSTER SKY METRO | Savic and other Savic cages) on special order from a petshop that orders from AniDis (even if they don't have them in their list of available cages)

FOP Articoli per animali - GABBIA RAUL COLORE TORTORA
FOP Articoli per animali - GABBIA PACO COLORE TORTORA
FOP Articoli per animali - GABBIA CRICETO OLIVER BIANCO F.DO COLORATO
: (and other FOP cages) from abbaseed.com (have to call them and aks if they have it in stoke at the moment)

Amazon.com: Living World Ferret Habitat: Pet Supplies : available elsewhere... Just make sure you shop properly and you WILL need hammocs to make it hamser safe.

Super Pet My First Pet Rat Cage: Amazon.ca: Home & Garden : available in many petshops and on certain online sites... You WILL need hammocs to make it hamster safe.

Kevin 82 Small Animal Cage | ThatPetPlace.com : it's often on sale. Probably available elsewhere. Make sure you do some shopping.

Ferret Kit with Tubes - 39 in. x 21 in. | ThatPetPlace.com : Often on sale. Probably available elsewhere. Make sure you do some shopping.

Will add more as I find them ! Good cage hunting !!

PJ's Pets ( PJs Pets - Store Locator ) in Pickering, Ontario carries zoozones (or at least zoozone knock offs). They have both the large/small version. They are sort of off on their own, not near the other small animal cages so you might have to ask or look around. PJ's has other locations in Ontario, and eastern Canada so it might be worth checking them as well.

At least in Ontario, our Ikea's stock expedits and detolfs too so DIY is an option. Lee Valley Tools has just about every type of weird hardware for such conversions too.

I think since this is a general thing for Canadians on the forum, it wouldn't hurt to mention that a great place to start looking is Free Kijiji Canada Classifieds | Free Ads | Petites Annonces Gratuites in the pet accessories because not only does it help save money, it can present many different options like tanks and terrariums : )

I KNOW. I want to buy one just because! Because it's there! It's available. But I don't need it!!! And of course I don't just have 100 bucks to spend right now after all I've already spent - my hubby would divorce me! LOL.

$53 for a Wodent Wheel. LOL. Now that is funny.

That's exactly how I feel, right down to the hubby divorcing me part. I've just lugged home two 40g breeder tanks from Petco's $1/gallon sale that I technically didn't need, so I think a ZZ2 or two is probably not a good idea for me.

That makes 3 of us !! But I will most likely get one of I can put my hand on a robo (which I'm starting to doubt... sadly...) I hate seing the cage there, waiting to be ordered... and not being the one waiting for it !! LOLL

BUT if I find a robo, OH can go sleep at his mom or in the basement cause the ZZ2 is gonna come in with a baby robo in it !!!
