Best wheel for a Syrian?
Hello, I am trying to kit out my cage for my Syrian which is currently only young. Which wheels do you recommend getting?
Thanks
Sian

The 12" Flying Saucer is awesome.

Re: Best wheel for a Syrian?
the 12 inch flying saucer is amazing
or the trixie 12 inch is as well and takes up less space

I recently bought Heidi my Syrian a 29 cm Wonderland Wooden Exercise Wheel and she absolutely loves it. Be warned though it is huge but at least your young Syrian will grow into it.

Re: Best wheel for a Syrian?
We tend to reccomend the 11" trixie rodent wheels, we have two, they're lasting well, are really quiet and really cheap. Can't see the downside yet, and I personally prefer them over the 12" flying saucer and 12" silent spinner we also have.
Great deals on small pet cage accessories: Small Pet Exercise Wheel, 28 cm

Re: Best wheel for a Syrian?
Thanks- we already have the big trixie wheel- it came with the cage but when she runs in it, it comes off the 'metal prong' that it attaches to so we have taken it out as I don't want it to hurt her. Maybe will get a new one of the same.
Thank you everyone for your replies

12" silent spinner and 12" flying saucer are my faves.
