This thread is old but stickied so hopefully someone will see if they're looking for a decent cage. I got a Critertrail Super Habitat, 30x 18x16.5 and about 5inch deep bottom. It's barely "suitable" for the suggested size and kinda cheaply made, was about $100 after shipping and my Honey ham seems to enjoy the extra space. I've left her (very) temporary home attached to it and she still prefers to sleep in her space pod but ultimately happy with the cage and not having to diy it.

We already have a syrian and her cage is tiny I got to reading and discovered that her cage is WAY too small!! I am so ashamed !! So for the last week or so I have been searching for a larger cage for her. I am so grateful for this site! Thank you for the link I will take a look at it. Our hamster wheel is fairly small...I was going to buy her all new accessories with a more natural theme. I really like the tamburino since we have a cat though he doesn't really seem that interested in the hamster because he is horribly lazy and would rather have his food from a can.
