Re: Help!!
Hehe thank you I have one that is more than likely too small but I have one that's just over 8 inches. Might do for now if it's bigger than the one he is currently running in
I wouldn't want anything for it, I'd just be happy to help a fellow hammie owner out

You are so lovely D:
His wheel is currently only about 5-6 inches which has completely annoyed me. I don't even think that's big enough for a dwarf hamster!
I don't want to be too much hassle though! D:

Re: Help!!
Wouldn't be hassle
You can try the 8 inch one if you like. It's a bit noisy but if you want to try it you can

Thank you so much for the offer, but I don't need it anymore <3
I did enough whining to my dad (and also cleaned up around the house to try and aid the convincing...) and he finally gave in and bought me a Trixie Wheel (I think that's what they're called?). It'll take a couple of days to get here but in the mean time I'll be working on the bin cage!
Thank you all for the support during my little panic <3

Re: Help!!
Is there a safe place that Alfie can run around at night? maybe make him a make-shift playpen out of cardboard?? My girls enjoy just running around our family room floor. (We moved and don't have furniture yet) You can open his cage inside his playpen so he will have the option to run around his playpen or go to his house.

Re: Help!!
You have a bin for Alfred's cage - that's great! Can you scout around for a gigantic round plastic food storage tub? Or even a plastic microwave dish? When lined with corrugated plastic (stuck on with children's non-toxic PVA glue) fixed with a couple of loose-ish nuts, bolts and washers to a small hole in the side of the bin cage, it can make a safe and effective make-shift wheel. You could google for ideas but there are plenty of cheap things to do in the meantime, which work very well with bin cages, particularly.
