Default A Good cage for Winter white dwarf hamsters?

Would this be ok?

http://www.shanetodd.co.uk/-IMAC-IMAC-B ... AJ5NO.aspx

I would remove the hay rack (I can't believe they think its ok for a guinea pig?)

I am thinking of getting a pair of girls, any advice would be most welcome.

thanks

I dont know much about which gender to get but the Imac bingo is a very good cage. Anything that is that big with a 'tank style' lid is good. It is similar to the Gabber Rex which is a really sought after cage!
Good Luck and I hope that a more knowledgable person comes along to help!

I can't see any problems with it - plenty of space, and the plastic base will allow you to put in deep bedding (for burrowing), and not have any worries about bar-chewing or escaping!

The cage style looks good for dwarfs bot you need to consider how a water bottle would fit in. The bottom tray slopes in quite a bit I notice. I would think you might have to drill out a hole to fit a water bottle low enough.

I think that cage looks pretty brilliant - of you do get one be sure and take loads of piccies and do a review for us. It's great size for a pair of Dwarf hams - almost identical size and style wise to the Rex.

Only thing is, by the time you've paid postage, the price will be almost what you'd pay for a Rex - and with the Rex the shelf allows easy access to the water bottle so no drilling would be required.
