Default Would the Rotastak Natro 200 cage be suitable for a Syrian?

I like the 'natural look' when it comes to hamster cages but unfortunately cannot afford the zooplus cages. Would this be suitable for a Syrian hamster?

It really isn't big enough and I know someone who bought one recently and these are very flimsy and not well made. I'd watch e bay if I were you!

I agree with souffle, for £40 you can get a 160x30 cage/aquarium from ikea, so I always use that to aid my decisions on whether something is worth it.

There's a bargain cage thread where people post cages from ebay which are cheap, although not all of those are suitable for a syrian.

But ideally you want something 70x40, minimum.. but 'indoor guinea pig cages' (the zoozone 1 or two, or rody rabbit etc) regularly come up on ebay, and although they need meshing, they're usually very good value, especially since they're often pick up only, so you don't always have many people bidding against you.

Good luck finding a cage, I have plastic cages but the insides are all natural, which looks fine to me.
