Default Pets at Home

On Saturday I phoned Pets at home to ask about the Hamster Heaven. They explained the price e.t.c. Then I was actually a bit cheeky and asked for a discount as it was so expensive! They basically said they would put one aside and when I came into the shop (Swindon) to buy it they would tell me (As they're manager wasn't there)
I went in the next day armed with a wad of cash and was delighted to hear they were going to give me a 20% discount on the £70 cage! I was delighted! They were really helpful and gave it to me no question and even said 'Is that alright with you?'.
I am amazed! I found them really helpful! I personally would be a bit worried in buying hamsters there as I find there tanks a bit small and i.m.o you get a better tempered hamster from a breeder!
Thanks beccy

That's amazing! I also live in swindon and have had a few run-ins with staff over their animals (after finding a robo almost dead in the cage). However never really seen much of their customer service, as never had any problems with cages/items etc., only animals.

Hope your hamster(s) have fun in their new cage

emmmm....I think 20% off of £70 is £56 Bunsey but nevertheless a great price. Hope they enjoy their new home

Didn't notice that...
I just want to say as well that I think that the Heaven (with discount) Is actually quite reasonable. You get all the added things with it and the starter kit which is worth £7!

Crikey that surprises me a lot as it's not like chain stores to discount - hmmm, I might try that as well

I was suprised but after watching the shows which encourage discounts I thought what the hell? May as well give it a go!
