Hamster Heaven Trouble
hiya, well I've had a Hamster Heaven for a while now, but I've had the same trouble with it for ages, I can't seem to find a place to put the wheel, its current position is ok for a while but due to Coco's, (my syrians) weight it slides downl and gets stuck after a while, can anyone suggest a way I can get the heel to work :S
P.S please dont think I dont feed Coco because her bowl is empty, shes a proper hoarder keeps it all in her bed because shes lazy XD

Re: Hamster Heaven Trouble
Maybe you could buy a wheel on a stand like the wodent wheel then out it at the other end of your cage. The rolly wheels don't tend to last that long anyway. Plus I think is that only 7.5 inches? You could do with getting at least an 8-inch wheel and even then sometimes you have to upgrade to an 11-inch.

Re: Hamster Heaven Trouble
And stands for the rolly wheel cost about £2.80? in P@H, so that it can be made into a stand alone wheel.

Re: Hamster Heaven Trouble
A stand would be the cheapest and better option but other than that I can only suggest moving it to the sides with horizontal bars so it doesn't slide, this is what I had to do with my dwarf wheels in my HH.
Or get a long, straight piece of wire, tie one end to heel and twist it up the bars and tie the other end to the top horizontal bars the of that wall its on so that it cant slide?

Re: Hamster Heaven Trouble
With the stand you can also suspend the wheel from the wire top of the cage and cable tie it to make it more secure. These pictures show a wodent wheel attached like this but it works for pretty much any wheel on a stand. The rolly stands are pretty good to attach silent spinners to as well.

Re: Hamster Heaven Trouble
I had the same problem with the Rolly, I couldnt even fit it on the bars mind you lol I just bought a new wheel (12inch Flying Saucer which fits nicely under the pink shelf).
If you bought the HH new it should have come with the stand for the Rolly.

Re: Hamster Heaven Trouble
Thanks everyone, and yeah it did come with a stand (gunna have to hunt for it) I was just worried that it may fall over or something since the little hook is placed in the centre of the HH but I'll try it
I might also buy a flying saucer, never considered getting one thank you
