Good idea Babyboos, I'll do that. I haven't taken them apart at all, when cleaning them either I've just plopped the whole wheel in the sink, or it's just been wiped over with a damp cloth (trying not to get it wet too much afer reading that somebody's rusted).

Rusted Well it could happen as there are some unpainted metal bits inside it. You just have to be so careful - cannot use WD40 or mineral based lubricants incase they get injested, and olive oil, butter etc. just don't have enough waterproofing or slip to them.

Emma, get a Savic Super Jumbo Rat and Large Hamster Wheel. A bit of olive oil every now and again and they are as quiet as a mouse!
