Default I made a bin cage

My gerbils now live here, but I thought I'd share, as I know bin cages are great for hammies too

It is a Jumbo storage bin with a Carmen 3 bird cage wired to the lid

Well ventilated with a strip cut out and meshed over - there are also some ventilation holes at the sides

Sand bath for the boys

enoying their new house!

I did previously have 4 boys in 2x rotastak creepy castle, but a fight broke out and I had to split 1 (I tried to re introduce and then tried to split into 2 pairs, but he wouldn't have any of it )
Gob, Buster and George-Michael are now in the bin cage and Tobias is in the Creepy Castle for now, but I may get him a different cage...

That's really impressive - you have created a real designer home for your gerbils (who are incredibly cute by the way ).
I reall like your ideas too with the corner shelves and wavy bridge!

Oh wow Faye thats great and you've given me a fab idea! I have a BIG birdcage, unsused in the garage, the bottom tray would make a great big bunny litter tray and the top would be great over a bin!!! Fab idea..... but then I'd need another hammie to go in it..... hmm
