Re: Rocks in the cage? Dirt?
Hm. Our bags has probably been outside for two to three years...Any idea how high the temp would need to be? and what temp you should boil the rocks in?

Re: Rocks in the cage? Dirt?
Ooh I have a bag of compost/soil that my mum got the other week, when my surreypets order comes I will make a digging area with some of it hopefully!
How do you bake the soil? Will have to do it when my parents are out as they didnt let me even bake sand
Hope your burns aren't too bad!

Re: Rocks in the cage? Dirt?
Got a blister, and a few marks from the hot water on my hand, but apart from that I'm good! I'm pretty good with handling pain so it's no worries. The rocks are going into the cage soon, hearing that the ham is up and about so she can play right away!
Hm, I'm thinking of sneaking out and getting the soil now...hehe.

Re: Rocks in the cage? Dirt?
I can't exactly remember but I think it was around 140 centigrade!
I'm glad the burns didn't bother you too badly! You should post some pictures of the soil and rocks in the cage x

Re: Rocks in the cage? Dirt?
They look cool, and it looks like she loves them!
Just be careful she doesn't try to pouch the smaller rocks though, but I may be slightly over cautious
