When you move your hammy have it all set up first and then leave them alone for 2 or 3 days to settle in (ie no handling, just put food and water out) but talk to them through the bars. And then don't clean anything for a couple of weeks Maybe just take the odd handful of pee'd on substrate out and replace it with new and mix it in - after the first week say. So they settle in and have chance to scent mark.
