Bath (SHC) Show - 17th February 2018
The Southern Hamster Club will be kicking off their showing season with the always popular show at Claverton Down Community Hall, Bath.
Link to show schedule: https://hamsters-uk.org/showdocuments/2018/bathfeb.pdf
For those that wish to attend this show via public transport, here is the information you will need:
The nearest train station to the venue will be Bath Spa and Claverton Down is a couple of miles out of the city centre. It is well served by bus and you will need to exit the train station via the City Centre exit and walk along Dorchester Street in the direction of the Bus Station. The bus you will need is the U1 which is operated by FirstBus and stops outside Sainsbury's Local, just opposite the Bus Station. The front of the bus should say 'University of Bath'.
There is also a Taxi rank just outside the train station for those that might prefer to get a taxi.
Is anyone from HC hoping to attend?

Re: Bath (SHC) Show - 17th February 2018
Despite there being a smaller Main Show, it was a busy day with a large number of Pet Entries and everyone seemed be enjoying the day.
because Matthew developed a skin split just after I sent the entries off, i had to withdraw him leaving Louise, her brothers Jack and Alex and Joshua to represent Metallica Hamstery at our first club show in 2018. As Louise, Jack and Alex are still babies I wasn’t expecting dazzling successes but they were well behaved and coped well with the day.
Jack and Louise came home empty handed but Alex managed to bring home a couple of prize cards.
‘Bobo’ Josh also came along and was a little bit livelier than I'd have liked whilst being judged but also managed to bring home a prize card and another one of The Cormes went off to his new home.
Lord Alexander J. Cormes of Metallica
4th Normal Chinese
4th Small Hamstery
Captain Jack S. Cormes of Metallica
Not Placed
Lady Louise K. Cormes of Metallica
Not placed
Rio’s Joshua at Metallica
4th Non-Standard

Re: Bath (SHC) Show - 17th February 2018
Jack was only half a point lower than his brother so I'm hopeful for him... Louise is still rather small so I'm thinking that whilst she may improve, it might come a bit later than her brothers.
