Cardiff (MHC) 29th July 2017
The Midland Hamster Club are holding their Cardiff show on 29th July 2017 at New School Rooms in Radyr.
Show schedule: https://hamsters-uk.org/media/MHC%20...iff%202017.pdf
For those wishing to come by public transport, your nearest train station will be Radyr which is about 5-10 minutes walk from the hall. If coming from other areas of the UK you may need to change at Cardiff Central.
For those who would prefer to travel by bus, Radyr is served by service 63 which is operated by Cardiff bus.
Is anyone from HC planning to attend?

I'll be there!
Also there will be refreshments available to purchase at this show.
If you are planning on attending and have specific dietary requirements, contact the show manager and he'll do his best to sort something for you.

I've just realised there's no show sec email on the schedule. If you want to enter main class or have questions about attending, send me a PM on here and I can give you the email address

Re: Cardiff (MHC) 29th July 2017
Team Metallica had a lovely time at the Cardiff Hamster Show today. I was busy Book Stewarding for the dwarf section which not only gives me the opportunity to see the judging close up but helps towards my training to become a Dwarf judge.
I took the three Chineseys that have made up my show team since the retirement of Lord James and they all came home with at least one placing.
Lilliput's Miss Lilli-Victoria of Metallica
1st in Normal Chinese
1st in Small Hamstery
'Daniela Krystiana'
2nd in Normal Chinese
2nd in Small Hamstery
Matthew C. Nobria, Viscount Metallica
3rd in Small Hamstery
Thank you to everyone who helped to make this a good day.

Re: Cardiff (MHC) 29th July 2017
We were there also " Olympus Hams " where we had another BiS dwarf with Vectis Hams Valiant at Olympus.
Even though it was not a big show, we were kept busy with sales and judging pets, which I don't get to do as often as I'd like. It's was quite close with the best overall pet. It was between a gerbil and a female Syrian hamster. The female was a pretty gorgeous rust (i think) but the gerbil was outstanding, he was black and his fur shone, probably the best looking gerbil I'd seen.
