I went to the London Champs and spent most of the day helping in the gerbil section (something I've not managed before as I usually have a job with the hamsters). It was interesting to watch the gerbils being judged and see all the different colours.

I entered 2 Syrians, 6 dwarfies and 2 duprasi, and my beasties did me proud:
Syrians
3rd SH AOC male (Griff)
1st LH AOC male (Georgic)
Dwarfies
1st and 3rd normal Chinese (Oats and Kaja)
1st dom spot Chinese (Ning)
1st and 3rd BEW Chinese (Lucci and Fire)
1st MPC, 1st Grand Challenge, certificate of merit and Dwarf Best in Show (Ning)
Duprasi
1st and 2nd Other Species Adult (Orion and Sirius)
1st and 2nd Exotic Challenge (Orion and Sirius)
Best Exotic (Orion)

Ning's certificate was her 5th from 3 different judges so she's now a Grand Champion. Here is Ning with one of her rosettes (she declined to pose with all of them):
