Now this is interesting. A show that is reachable for me and Dusty as well.

Moderators - is there any minimum age for the pet class. Would 12 weeks be too young?

Any HC members thinking of going?

I'm possibly thinking of going as it's the nearest show to us, and as i'm already into dog showing, i thought i'd give hamster showing a try!

For the main show the minimum age is 8 weeks old. I'd say 12 weeks would be k as long as the ham is able to cope with the travelling and being handled during judging Do remember to bring the hams for pet class in a suitable travelling cage or carrier (no large cages as it's not safe for hams to travel in them and the space is limited in the hall) and give a water source such as water bottle or veg.

I'll be there. I supposed I'd better since I'm judging

Is there anyone from the Gloucester area planning on attending this show? I have been offered hammies to collect from there but do not drive.
Please PM me if so, thanks

I mean only for the hamsters to be collected and I will collect from you later, not to take me to the show. As long as you live near enough for me to train/bus and collect that would be fine.

I will be there onSaturday and so will my daughter Dusty. Hopefully we will have at least one pet class entry. Sorry I can't help you slatted because we are coming from London.
Perhaps some sort of label with HC on it will help members spot each other. A post it note will do!

Me and Mum had a great today! Was lovely to see all the hamsters in pet and show classes. I was amazed by all the different coat patterns and colours, they were truly gorgeous. I hope everyone else who went also had a lovely day.

I brought along my male syrian Jarvis for the pet class. I was delighted that he managed to get 2nd place! He was really calm today even with all the travelling and is now having a well deserved rest back in his cage.

Here he is with his rosette!
