All the above classes MUST be exhibited in the approved show pens.
One piece of vegetable and a small dog biscuit (supplied by Northern Hamster Club) MUST be placed in the show pen before benching. Hire Pens: £1.00 per pen – subject to availability. Novice & Intermediate exhibitors will be given priority. Arrange with Show Secretary when booking entries. Hire Pens must be returned clean to the Show Secretary at the end of the show. Please bring your own shavings (shorthaired) and wood based cat litter (longhaired).
Trophies & Rosettes: Awarded as appropriate, cards for first 4 places, all classes.
TICKETS: Adult - £7.00, Senior Citizen - £4.00, Child - £2.00. There is also an additional charge for parking of £2.00 per car. Tickets on the day will be charged at a higher cost so please pre-order tickets when booking entries.
Please supply address details when booking in entries to allow postage of tickets.
All Hamsters will be judged under NHC Rules and Standards. All details are subject to change without prior notice
Directions: From South – Follow M1 North to M621 and follow signs for Leeds/Wakefield. At Jct 2 take A643 (3rd exit on rab), then slight right onto A58, left onto A58 Wellington Rd and continue onto A58M taking exit for A669/A653/Skipton. Sharp left at A660 Blackman Lane and right at A660 Woodhouse Lane. Continue on A660 for approx 6 miles. At RAB take 2nd exit onto Leeds Rd and follow for approx 4 miles. At RAB take 2nd exit on B6451/Leeds Rd, follow for approx ¾ mile and turn left onto B6541 Bridge St. Continue onto Billams Hill and turn left onto Weston Lane. Car Park entrance is off Weston Lane – Top Car Park.
From North – from A1(M) take Jct 47 onto A59 signpost Knaresborough/Bradford/Harrogate (3rd exit on RAB). Continue for approx 2 ½ miles to RAB and take 2nd exit onto A658. Continue on this route for approx 11 ½ miles going through 3 RAB’s then turn right at A659 Pool Rd and continue for about 2 ½ miles. Turn right at A659/Kirkgate and continue (road turns right and becomes B6541/Clapgate. Turn left onto B6541 Bridge St. Continue onto Billams Hill and turn left onto Weston Lane. Car Park entrance is off Weston Lane – Top Car Park.
From West – Follow M62 and take M606. At Jct 1 exit towards Ring Rd (West). At RAB take 4th exit onto A6177 Rooley Lane. Continue on this road for approx 3 miles going through 1 RAB. Turn right at A658 Harrogate Rd and follow for approx 4 miles. At A65 take 2nd exit on A658 Green Lane. Turn left at A658 Harrogate Lane then half mile later turn left at Otley Old Rd and follow road for approx 2 ½ miles. turn left onto B6541 Bridge St. Continue onto Billams Hill and turn left onto Weston Lane. Car Park entrance is off Weston Lane – Top Car Park.
