Want to start my own show, any advice?

I want to start my own western Canadian show, any advice on how to go about it?

Get a mentor, someone already involved in showing and breeding pedigreed hamsters, and go from there. Join a professional organization too. I don't know whether it would be advisable to join one that's closer (California) or older and more established (UK) or maybe both, but definitely don't start cold.
