Will there be treats, toys and general 'hamstery' things available to buy at the show?

I hope everyone who went to the show enjoyed themselves. I had a busy but good day being pen steward. My little ones worked hard waving the Vectis flag and made me proud, especially as there were 17 dominant spot Chinese in the class! My little lot won:

Reserve Best in Show (Alum)
1st and 2nd dom spot Chinese (Alum and Apple)
1st and 2nd robo (Curie and Stevie)
3rd normal Chinese (Star)
1st, 3rd and 4th MPC (Alum, Curie and Apple)
4th breeder (Curie)
2nd young stock (Curie)
2nd grand challenge (Alum)
Certificate of Merit (Alum)

Well done Vectis Hamstery.

I didn't make it to the show. I was hoping but really there wasn't much chance!

Can anyone tell me what it was like? Are there stalls selling bits and pieces for hamsters. Is it a big show?

The Bath show is a busy show, especially in July. There is usually a good number of pets entered. There are stalls selling hamster hammocks, knitted hamsters, wheels and treats as well as a tombola and refreshments. Pet class judging starts at 2pm so it's wise to get there at about 1.30 if you want to enter.

Well done to the Vectis crew! Ahh, I love viewing the hams in the show pens! xD

I entered my Tristar dwarfy and my Pet shop Syrian into the Pet classes! Only 3 Dwarfs - All WW! Orkid ( Dwarf ) Placed second out of the 3

The big shocker was Minnie ( Pet Shop Syrian ) came 2nd out of 11 Syrians! She got higher placings then all the show bred ones which was surprising! and a lovely little Syrian came 1st!

We went too and had a really long day but a good day and all the hams enjoyed it
Fwirl, Muddle and Eggbiscuit went and entered pet class, all the hams placed but Eggbiscuit surprised me quite a bit by coming first in the female syrians (so thanks to HamsterLearner11 for the compliments for her) Was lovely to see and prove just how far she's come in the two months since we got her
We saw lots of nice people and hams and had a really good day, even if the weather did make it a bit of a long drive home
