Hi all,

I'm thinking about going to Lymm via train... If anyone else is thinking of doing the same and would like to split a taxi there/back from one of the train stations nearby, please get in touch

-Apologies if I should have started a new thread for this, I didn't know whether to or not...

No that is fine chatterbox.
I might just add though to note that this show is the AGM and there will be less chance to chat to folk and ask things due to everyone attending the meeting.
If you wanted to consider the next show which is the one we run in Brockholes then there is actually a station in Brockholes, West Yorkshire, which is only five minutes walk from the hall!

Has the Lymm show got a pet class? If not, what are the conditions to enter the main classes?

I have asked and there will be a Pets class at Lymm and racing. You can enter on the day.
For main class you need to either make an online entry or e mail the show secretary before 9pm on Saturday with your entry. If you do not have a show pen then request to hire one. They will help guide you or post what you want to enter and I can help.

Thanks Souffle. I'll let you know when I know for sure. I can't normally go to hamster shows as their too far away, but my Nan lives in Manchester and is in a nursing home, so if my dad goes up to visit again, and I can time it right, I'm hoping he'll drop me off in Lymm for the day. If I go, I intend to take Sunny, and Kyte, but Kyte is starting to change colour and isn't as sapphire as he was at the moment, so would it be a waste of time taking him?

A WW going into winter coat would be very heavily penalised in the main classes and most people would not enter one. The judge cannot tell the true colour you see. That would not stop him going in pets though
