I had a lovely day too, though my legs were worn out after a day of pen stewarding (I was the one wearing an I <3 hamsters t shirt
). I didn't have much of a chance to chat to folks as I was so busy. It was an impressive pet class entry so well done to those with rosettes including my friend's little girl who got commended in dwarf pet.
My little ones did well given that the heat hasn't done their show condition any favours and my best hams are on maternity leave. My young Syrians were on average marks which is a good start. All my dwarfies except Persil placed, achieving 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th spotty Chinese, 3rd normal Chinese, 3rd robo, and 4th non standard (with a spotty robo).
Roll on some cooler weather and the next show in Cardiff!
