I was told at the last show that it's always the Saturday the week before the show, so 13th for this one

If we were decided to attend and enter I think Archie would be in classess:
12?
Would there be anything else he could go in to?

Class 17 (Novice) and 21 Grand Challange
Topcliffe was slightly later last year so you are still in your first year of exhibiting suga.

Thanks Souffle. I wasn't sure. I had noted 12 and 21 down as I remembered that from last year but wasn't sure about anything else.

I really want to go to this show. It's getting there though. Our car is not very reliable at the moment.
If I can get there do I have to enter in Novice or can I enter in the classes?

Hello, I've never been to a hamster show before and was wondering if there are hamster products on sale there? I live quite close to the venue so may have a look along to see all the hams and meet some more enthusiasts x

Rach if you want to enter the main show you have to enter in advance and closing date is next Saturday. I'd say Topcliffe is one of the smaller shows but there will be a pet class and racing.
When you enter main show you must be there by 10.30 to bench your hamsters, hire a pen and stay till judging finishes. There is nothing much at all to do in Topcliffe to be honest. You enter you hamster in it's main class like Normal Winter white for example then any duplicates and you could enter Novice and Grand Challange. If you want to do this let me know the hams and I could guide you if you want
If you entered pets you need to be there for around 1pm. enter on the day and can also do racing if you bring a ball. You can leave after a few hours if you choose.
I would always suggest pets for a first time show as then you can see what happens and ask a judge their opinion of your hamster and if you should consider entering main show with it.
Pets is great fun and we all started there!!
