Re: Dawlish show 9th March
I had a lovely day at the show yesterday. It was a small show but perfectly formed! Not really a day for a walk on the beach, but there were lots of helpers needed inside so I flitted between assisting on the tombola and helping in the kitchen (plus lots of chatting!). I didn't take any pets in the end as my girl mice have been aggravating each other and need to go back to basics in the cage for a bit, and although Basil-mouse was chewing his bars to come, he didn't want to leave his cage!
My little ones did better than I expected to cheer me up after a bad week:
Hershey (headspot robo, nonstandard), Wroxall and Ryde (both dom spot Chinese) were unplaced
Ventnor - 4th dom spot Chinese
Star - 4th normal Chinese
Lympy (dark grey) - 4th AOC female
Copper - 3rd normal Chinese
Eponine - 2nd don spot Chinese
Alvie - 1st dom spot Chinese, 2nd breeder, 3rd MPC, 3rd grand challenge
Persil - 1st normal Chinese, 2nd MPC, 2nd grand challenge, Reserve Best in Show, Certificate of Merit
I hope any HCers who made it had a nice time.

You are so right something we could all do with I'm sure!
& yes Vectis, I am determined to be at a show before too long, probably not bringing hamsters first time but I would love to see all the others

Re: Dawlish show 9th March
I enjoyed the day, the hammies and rats did well and it was lovely to catch up with everyone.
I did try and steal Copper, but I was spotted

Re: Dawlish show 9th March
I had a wander round for half an hour and enjoyed myself. All of the hamsters were so cute. There was a very lively little robo who stole my heart.

Re: Dawlish show 9th March
Its sound really nice for me because I really didn't attend any hamster show with my hamsters pair. I wish I attend some hamsters shoes with my hamsters.
