Can anyone go to a hamster show?
Hi all, sorry if this is a dumb question but I've never been to a show before, and I was just wondering if anyone can go? or do you have to have hamsters entered in the show? or be a member? Thanks in advance

Any member of the public is welcome to come. It is good to come to a Northern show around 1.30 then you can see the pets (and enter) and also the racing though there is none at the outdoor shows in the summer. Hope we'll see you at one of them soon leedsgurl.

Yeah was hoping to get to the one of the many shows in the north at some point Was just looking at the Northern Hamster Club Shows 2008 calendar and it says there is one at Brinsworth on 5th July (though the date isn't confirmed)

We'll be at Brinsworth too! It was rained off last year - is it an outdoor show?

It's just that, in this months journal, Sue Kilburn says there's just one more Northern show (Lymm, I assume) before the season of summer outdoor shows start - which made me think Brinsworth must be outdoor?

How do you recognise each other if you've never met? or shall I just wear a big badge that says 'leedsgurl'

I think Brinsworth is outdoors. Its like a sort of summer fair/gala affair and hams have a tent I think.
Leedsgurl you just get a sort of second sense about who peole are somehow
