All the above classes MUST be exhibited in the approved show pens.

One piece of vegetable and a small dog biscuit (supplied by Northern Hamster Club) MUST be placed in the show pen before benching. Hire Pens: £1.00 per pen – subject to availability. Novice & Intermediate exhibitors will be given priority. Arrange with Show Secretary when booking entries. Hire Pens must be returned clean to the Show Secretary at the end of the show. Please bring your own shavings (shorthaired) and wood based cat litter (longhaired).

Trophies & Rosettes: Awarded as appropriate, cards for first 4 places, all classes.

All Hamsters will be judged under NHC Rules and Standards.

PET CLASS & HAMSTER RACING – 2.00PM - £1.00 COMBINED ENTRY (max 3 entries in Main Show to qualify).

im not able to make this show, but will make the 23rd, but i have an odd question, if maximum 3 in main you can still enter pet, what if you are not entering a hamster into pet, but a gerbil, rabbit, rat, or other small furry? dose the max 3 limit still count?
i thought it used to be if you owned less then 10 you could enter pet class, im sure it used to be! just want to confirm this

Each club has a different ruling for pets class so it is best to check. At Northern you can enter pets if you have 3 or less animals in main show and I think that is for any animal in pet also.

cheers for that souffle! I always try to get to shows in time for main class, but if i cant make it a few of mine go into pet class instead some of mine who cant show often come for pet so I like to know if its an option.
I am guessing now hammond's top teeth are almost completely worn away he cant be in main now, they are there, just where his teeth where damaged they wear down so quick. so he will probably be my pet class buddy now

You would need to contact the rehoming manager after the closing date (25th February) to ask if any were booked in for rehome to find out littlescruffies.
