Can anyone explain why they don't hold any shows in Wales? Every show I've seen listed is in England somewhere or Scotland, so why is there none for Wales? As from what I can see, anyone living in wales is completely missing out as the places there are shows is too far away to get to easily. It just seems rather unfair, and it's the same with breeders, their all miles and miles away too. If you live in the north of England there is shows around, and the same for the south, yet there isn't a single one for Wales. It appears living in wales automatically put you on a disadvantage to anywhere else

Cardiff. And its not just those of us in Wales who often have to travel to get to shows.
And mid-Wales has a breeder too.

Wales is quite well served with breeders nearby, the Cardiff show and shows just over the Border like Bath. Towy Vale is in Wales and you couldn't do better than them with a huge input in the clubs, lovely hamsters and authors of Hamsterlopaedia!

Lol I should of put North Wales Cardiff is as inaccessable to me as Bath is! It's about 4 hours from where I am down to Cardiff, I went once with college to see the welsh assembly building, such a long way! Towy Vale isn't much closer. Kyrill whereabouts in mid wales is there a breeder? I've never heard of one there.

Towy Vale is Camarthenshire. Thats either mid-wales or incredibly close to mid-wales.

There's not much going on in London/East Anglia/Scotland either. Maybe you should see about organising one...

Lol, it wasn't meant to come across like that! It just gets to you after a bit, that there is nowhere and nothing around you cos all the places are too far away.
It was meant to be a question on behalf of hamster owners in north wales in general.

Towy Vale is in llandovery, which is an hour and a half past Aber. As it takes an hour to get to Aber itself, it is still way too far away
