Default Kingswinford Show

Is anyone going?
I'm really tempted to go along and enter Fudge in the Pet Class and was wondering if anyone from here was going along too

We're probably going. I've got the day off work and its within driving distance (by our standards) so we're planning to be there
Likely with Scamp and possibly Fwirl (for her it depends how she is at Bath on Saturday - if she likes it she'll go to Kingswinford, if she doesn't then she may well stay at home that day instead).

I had to google that place to see if it was even real! Thought you'd either made it up or given it some kind of nickname!

It's about 9 miles from my house so my mum said she'll bring me if she can. I think she secretly wants to come anyway because she's developed a love for hamsters since I got Fudge.
Yay I meet see people from here then

Lucky... Its about 100 miles from us but is within the range we'll drive for a day out so we'll almost definetly be there

Its closer than Bath anyway and we're going there this weekend lol

Hiya

yes, lol, it is a real place! This is my home village and i live within walking distance of the show and i must say this is one of the best shows of the year as it is the Midland Hamster Clubs Christmas Show, so it is always very busy with a Xmas Buffet for members and a tombola too

It is a great show with a lovely friendly, Christmassy atmosphere with everyone giving out their xmas cards and generaly having a festive time!

I would really recommend coming if you are thinking about it

Have just posted the schedule here:

Midlands Hamster Club - Kingswinford Show - 24th November 2012

Hope to see you all there!!

Tammy x

Thank you, I almost definitely going, just need to ensure my mum keeps the day free as I can't drive haha
Is there a deadline to enter pet class or do I just make sure she's in before 2pm?
I might need to keep away from the sales table. I know I'll end up falling in love with another ham

For pet class we just get there and enter before 2pm. I try to make sure ours are in their carriers by 1:45pm (as opposed to climbing on people or up a sleeve somewhere), but thats just so they're definetly there when the judge wants them.

How far away from the main B'ham train station is here? I go to the NEC every year so am used to going to B'ham by train, but not 'out of it' anywhere.
