Default Syrian hamster (Odysseus), Surrey

Location: Wallington, Surrey

Kind of hamster(s): Syrian

Hamster age(s): DOB estimated June 2017

Reason they were abandoned /require rehoming? Odysseus was rescued, along with about 70 other hamsters, from a breeder who had allowed things to get out of control.

Any health problems/special needs? No apparent health issues

Any behavioural problems? Ody has probably never been handled so at the moment he is rather overwhelmed and shy. He is currently in foster care so he’ll get daily handling to help his confidence grow.

Type of household hamster would best be suited to: (example, family with kids, no kids, no other pets and so on) Ody needs a quiet, stable home with experienced handlers. He would not be a suitable pet for a child.

Link to rescue facility: (if none leave blank) Starlight Trust
