Location: North West England, can travel to the following counties and meet part way:
Flintshire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Staffordshire, Greater Manchester and Lancashire
Kind of hamsters: Syrian
Hamster age: 6 weeks old
Reason they were abandoned?
Too large a litter for the owner to keep. I take in rescues but sadly don’t have space to keep these 2 myself. I am currently fostering them and trying to find 2 forever homes for 2 special Syrians.
They come from an excellent home and have been well fed and well handled.
Any health problems/special needs?
The male has a slight cosmetic problem with one of his eyes. It has been checked by a vet and does not require treatment. The skin around the eye looks a little redder than it should.
Any behavioural problems?
The female has not taken to being tamed as much as her brother but is coming on much better in the last 7 days.
Type of household hamster would best be suited to:
The female will be better suited to a home where she will be handled by patient adults who understand the needs of a more timid hamster.
