Reason they were abandoned? Mum was surrendered to rescue due to health problems and the litter was given up the following week for more handling and feeding up that couldn't be provided in their previous home.
Any health problems/special needs? No specific health problems in the babies. They just need building up.
Any behavioral problems? No specific behavioural problems.

Type of household hamster would best be suited to: No particular restrictions. Potential homes would need to complete a form and home check.

Hercules (long haired cream roan) and Max (short haired sable banded) are currently being fostered at Vectis. They won't be able to leave until they are 8 weeks old in order to maximise their condition and handling.
