Winter White Russian Dwarf Female 6mnths old in Edinburgh

Hamster age(s): approx 6 months
Reason they were abandoned? No longer able to be cared for by original breeder (not me the person whom placed her with me I hasten to add) - Specific reason was never given
Any health problems/special needs? Left back leg at the ankle/foot points backwards - doesn't use it's foot as such but appears to amble around quite happily and runs on a wheel fine - looks like a fight when very young, don't think it is a true birth defect due to scarring and thickening of skin.
Any behavioral problems? Not handled by previous owner so a little shy but hopefully time will bring her round she hasn't bitten us as yet but you can never gaurantee 100%

Type of household hamster would best be suited to: family with kids/other pets/whatever as long as you have time and commitment to look after this little girl forever. Appropriate enclosure required.
