Default Two Syrians and a Robo

Location: Massachusetts
Kind of hamster(s): robo
Hamster age(s): N/A- at least 7 months
Reason they were abandoned? Previous owner lost interest; currently I’m over hamster capacity
Any health problems/special needs? No
Any behavioral problems? No—she’s a typical robo

Type of household hamster would best be suited to: As she’s a robo, she’d do best in a home where her caretaker is an adult. She was a “just there” pet in her previous home so was never tamed but has displayed no signs of aggression towards me.

Location:
Massachusetts
Kind of hamster(s): syrian
Hamster age(s): between 5-7 months
Reason they were abandoned? Previous owner had too many hamsters and then lost interest and I am at capacity
Any health problems/special needs? No
Any behavioral problems? No—I was told he was extremely anxious/frightened and was constantly jumping/flipping onto his back and displaying his belly but he is much calmer than that since coming here. He did flip onto his back once with me his first morning here when I accidentally surprised him but he calmed almost immediately after realizing it was me and hasn’t flipped onto his back since.

Type of household hamster would best be suited to: I think he would do best in a relatively calm household where there will be a general routine. His previous home was rather chaotic and filled with animals, of particular note a couple of dogs that were loud barkers and able to enter the hamster room (which likely led to his reputation as being very anxious/frightened). I would prefer he be housed in a home with either no dogs or where the dogs are quiet and will not be allowed near his cage/bin.

Location: Massachusetts
Kind of hamster(s): syrian
Hamster age(s): just under 3 months (will be 3 months at the end of the month)
Reason they were abandoned? She needs a quieter environment than I can provide for her
Any health problems/special needs? No
Any behavioral problems? Not really—she is definitely on the higher-strung side but displays no signs of aggression etc. She does become extremely anxious in too large a cage and should be housed in “smaller” homes (her former cage was roughly the size of a detolf but she was extremely stressed by it and failed to thrive; since being moved into a 30 gallon bin cage, she has calmed considerably so long as she is in her cage) She is still not tamed (she will sniff your hand and perhaps take treats from it occasionally) but is a sweet, if high strung girl.

Type of household hamster would best be suited to: She needs a calmer home where there is a general routine in place and the neighborhood is quiet. She is the most highly strung of all my hamsters and while she does well with “normal” household noise—vacuuming, talking/conversations/background (ie: tv/computer) noise—she does not do well with loud noises coming from outside the home. In particular, I live next to a plumbing/garage business and the trucks coming and going outside my window is particularly stressful for her. The highway is also near me and while I can see it from my backyard, I normally can’t hear it though I assume she can and it is very stressful for her. She needs a hamster-experienced home with plenty of patience.
