Default Fleas

one of my cats has had an outbreak of fleas, which was dealt with on the day of finding them.

ive checked over my hamsters to make sure they havent picked them up and lucky i havent seen any, but if they were to get fleas what would you use to get rid of them?

I dont think hamsters really get infested with the fleas. My dogs are always covered in the things as they've grown immune to all the medicine. But never has a flea been on the hams

I don't think they will get fleas. If they do, take them to the vet.

It would be unusual for them to do so as a helathy hamsters immune system can tackle outbreaks of fleas.
If they did then vet treatment would be needed

ah i'm getting mixed up with mites and fleas.
I think fleas prefer bigger animals (not that i'm a flea expert or anything )

I haven't heard of any hamster getting fleas, but i wouldn't say it was impossible!
Vet treatment would definitely be needed though
