oh my god.
ohhhh my god.
Dewey has some diarreah. Its not like super liquidy, but not like normal poo.
Is this wet tail?! I think I'm overreacting, but I'm soo scared ): I've had him for nearly a year now, how could he get it!!

Re: diarreah
If it was wet tail, it would be like water and just running out of him. If it's just soft it could be normal variation. Have you fed him any fresh fruit or veg lately that he's not used to?

Re: diarreah
yh like said above, softer poo may just be because of a change of diet or excessive drinking (in the hot weather)

Re: diarreah
If you have changed his diet or given any treats he is not used to it could just be that. Is he acting normally? Playing and eating all ok?
If so I would just keep a close eye on him, hopefully they will go back to normal soon x

Re: diarreah
It won't be true wet tail as that does not affect older hamsters like dewey.
The most likely cause is eating something he is not used to or eating too much veg. Keep him on dry foods only for a few days and see how it goes whilst watching him very closely.
The poo they eat is softer and muddy coloured so you may have startled him whilst he was passing this?
Check his cage for any 'mouldy' uneaten wet food and and make sure his bed is clean and dry. Look for any normal poos to establish if it is a one of and then feel his tum for any swelling, bumps or lumps, squishy bloatiness and if you feel anything I would see a vet with him.
If it has cleared up then great and just feed veg in very tiny bits.
Hope he is well soon.
